E-Filing in Travis County District Courts
By now you have probably heard that the Travis County District Courts are implementing a new
e-File system for civil court documents.
How will this affect you? Certain court filings are to be submitted electronically so you will
need to be able to upload word processing files to one of several electronic filing service providers (EFSPs)
who will convert your documents and forward your materials to the District Clerk’s office.
Each of these providers also has an interface which allows you to select the method of service as well
as the process server. When choosing the type of delivery, be sure to look for an additional box
labeled “Special Instructions” or “Comments” and type in:
Please use Constable Pct 5 for service.
This will ensure that we receive your paper and you will have our 24/7 on-line Service Check
and instant email notification service* available for your case.
