Searching by Cause Number

Click on the "Cause" entry box. You will see the blinking cursor at the far left hand side. Type in the Cause Number, which may also be called a Suit or Case Number. It can be any combination of letters and/or numbers. Do not include any hyphens, slashes, or spaces. Letters may be entered in either upper or lower case, the search is not case-sensitive.

Example: The Cause Number "D-1-FM-12-34567" should be entered as D1FM1234567 or d1fm1234567.

Click on "GO" to bring up the cause sequence. If necessary, scroll down to locate the matching respondent name. If no data is found, look to see if any blank spaces are ahead of the cause number you typed - delete them and resubmit.

If no data is returned using the Internet Explorer browser, clear the entry field by clicking on the small "x" at the right edge of the box and reenter the info.
